Governor Of Edo State Exposed

The Edo state governor Adams Oshiomhole has shown that the revered position of a caretaker of the commonwealth of the Edo people and guardian of the hope and future of this great land is not one that should be kept in his custody any longer.

We all wait with eager anticipation for how he will explain away the "paradise" heis building for himself directly behind his house, in his compound, not far from Iyamoh primary school, in Iyamoh, off Auchi Okene road, near Auchi. We might think that the word paradise is a stretch of one's imagination until you take a tour of the mansion and its facilities.

His estate, which is the size of a Texas style ranch, with swimming pools, water fountains and a big occasion hall, amphitheatre, indoor cinema hall, to mention a few is heavily guarded by what can only be described as a battalion of armed vigilantes in 10 Hilux pick-ups and a detachment of fierce looking mobile policemen.

These vigilantes and armed policemen can clearly be seen, when driving along the Auchi-Okene road, on your right hand side.

Many questions arise. Why is Edo state in debt of almost 100 Billion Naira? One would have hoped that it was to provide the suffering people of Edo state with the much needed infrastructure that would have been the catalyst for an economic turn-around.

However with a paradise home that is rumored to be valued at over 10 billion Naira, your guess is as good as mine.

A Story You Can Not Forget

One day a man saw an old lady stranded on the side of the road, but even in the dim light of day, he could see she needed help. So he pulled up in front of her Mercedes and got out. His Pontiac was still sputtering when he approached her.
Even with the smile on his face, she was worried. No one had stopped to help for the last hour or so, was he going to hurt her?
He didn’t look safe; he looked poor and hungry. He could see that she was frightened, standing out there in the cold. He knew how she felt. It was those chills which only fear can put in you. He said, “I’m here to help you, ma’am. Why don’t you wait in the car where it’s warm? By the way, my name is Bryan Anderson.”
Well, all she had was a flat tire but for an old lady, that was bad enough. Bryan crawled under the car looking for a place to put the jack skinning his knuckles a time or two. Soon he was able to change the tire but he had to get dirty and his hands hurt.
As he was tightening up the leg nuts, she rolled down the window and began to talk to him. She told him that she was from St. Louis and was only just passing through. She couldn’t thank him enough for coming to her aid. Bryan just smiled as he closed her trunk. The lady asked how much she owed him. Any amount would have been alright with her. She already imagined all the awful things that could have happened had he not stopped. Bryan never thought twice about being paid. This was not a job to him. This was helping someone in need and God knows there were plenty, who had given him a hand in the past. He had lived his whole life that way and it never occurred to him to act other ways.
He told her that if she really wanted to pay him back, the next time she saw someone who needed help; she could give that person the assistance they needed and Bryan added, “And think of me.”
He waited until she started her car and drove off. It had been a cold and depressing day, but he felt good as he headed for home, disappearing into the twilight. A few miles down the road the lady saw a small cafe. She went in to grab a bite to eat and take the chill off before she made the last leg of her trip home. It was a dingy looking restaurant. Outside were two old gas pumps. The whole scene was unfamiliar to her. The waitress came over and brought a clean towel to wipe her wet hair. She had a sweet smile, one that even being on her feet for the whole day couldn’t erase. The lady noticed the waitress was nearly eight months pregnant, but she never let the strain and aches change her attitude. The old lady wondered how someone who had so little could be so giving to a stranger. Then she remembered Bryan.
After the lady finished her meal, she paid with a hundred dollar bill. The waitress quickly went to get change for her hundred dollar bill, but the old lady had slipped right out the door. She was gone by the time the waitress came back. The waitress wondered where the lady could be. Then she noticed something written on the napkin. There were tears in her eyes when she read what the lady wrote: “You don’t owe me anything. I have been there too. Somebody once helped me out, the way I’m helping you. If you really want to pay me back, here is what you do: Do not let this chain of love end with you.” Under the napkin were four more $100 bills.
Well, there were tables to clear, sugar bowls to fill, and people to serve, but the waitress made it through another day. That night when she got home from work and climbed into bed, she was thinking about the money and what the lady had written. How could the lady have known how much she and her husband needed it? With the baby due next month, it was going to be hard….
she knew how worried her husband was and as he lay sleeping next to her, she gave him a soft kiss and whispered soft and low, everything is going to be alright. I love you, Bryan Anderson.”

There is an old saying, “what goes around comes around.” whatever good act you perform God will never fail to compensate you in a different way beyond your wildest imagination… God Bless you!

One Eyed Baby

The baby born in Nigeria suffers from Cyclopia (also cyclocephaly or synophthalmia) – a rare birth defect characterized by failure of embryonic forebrain to divide into two orbital cavities for the eyeballs resulting in one eye. Typically the face lacks a functional nose. The cause being related to certain toxins and high doses of anticancer therapy.

Frog like Baby

In 2006, this bizarre-looking baby was born in Charikot, the headquarters of Dolakha district, attracting a huge number of onlookers to witness the astonishing sight. The neck-less baby with its head almost totally sunk into the upper part of the body and with extraordinarily large eyeballs literally popping out of the eye-sockets, was born to Nir Bahadur Karki and Suntali Karki at the Gaurishnkar Hospital in Charikot.

The baby suffers from a cephalic disorder called Anencephaly that results from a neural tube defect that occurs when the cephalic (head) end of the neural tube fails to close. Children born with this condition lack the forebrain which is responsible for cognition i.e thinking. The remaining brain tissue is often exposed—not covered by bone or skin. There is no cure or standard treatment for anencephaly and the prognosis for patients is poor. Most anencephalic babies do not survive birth, accounting for 55% of non-aborted cases. If the infant is not stillborn, then he or she will usually die within a few hours or days after birth from cardiorespiratory arrest.

Outside Heart Baby

This baby reported in 2009 has a heart located outside his body. He has the birth defect Ectopia cordis in which the heart is abnormally located. In the most common form, the heart protrudes outside the chest through a split sternum. Less often the heart may be situated in the abdominal cavity or neck.

The babies with this condtion have usually a good chance of survival since heart can be repositioned to the appropriate location when surgery conditions are suitable.

Two Headed Baby

The nurse is holding an Egyptian baby named Manar Maged in a hospital in the city of Banha, north of Cairo. Maged was in a serious but improving condition after the procedure to treat her for craniopagus parasiticus — a problem related to that of conjoined twins linked at the skull.

Craniopagus parasiticus is a medical condition in which a parasitic twin head with an undeveloped (or underdeveloped) body is attached to the head of a developed twin. There have only been ten documented cases of this phenomenon, though to-date there have been at least eighty separate cases of this phenomenon written about in various records. Only three ever have been documented by modern medicine to have survived birth.

Baby Found Safe After Mother been Shot.

28years old Kayla Marie Golden,, was shot repeatedly after reportedly having an altercation outside a pediatric center where she had just left with her son. The alleged shooter, a woman described as being in her late 20′s, is said to have sped off in a bloodstained Lexus with the baby, Lt. Dan Norris said of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office.
The baby was safe when authorities found him and his father came to carry him, Montgomery County District Attorney Brett Ligon told theassociated press on Tuesday.

13 Years In Prison,End Of Ibori's Case.

Judge Pitts sentences James Ibori to 13 years in prison for money laundering.
If he had fought the case judge says he would be looking at 24 years but will get a discount for pleading guilty. He then sentenced former gover james Ibori to 13 years in prison.
Judge deducts 645 days already spent in jail, says Ibori would serve the rest in British jail. That means Mr. Ibori will be in prison for at least 7 years.
Judge says he "recognizes that there is another side to the man James ibori but he is not the proper person to judge your achievements and failings as a governor, that is up to the people of delta state"
