Boko Haram: Jonathan Asks U.S To Help Nigeria


                     
President Goodluck Jonathan has made a passionate appeal to the United States government to help the federal government in the bid to tackle the security morass the  country is enmeshed in, following the gory activities of the Islamic extremist group, Boko Haram.

Corpers Cause Mass Failure In Schools - Teachers Council


           
The TRCN argued that this had been responsible for the mass failure of secondary school students in the Senior Secondary School Certificate and National Examinations Council in recent years.
The TRCN Head of Operations, Dr. Steve Nwokeocha, stated this at a pre-induction ceremony of 118 Professional Diploma in Education graduates at the Federal College of Education, Osiele, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

According to a statement signed by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Reuben Abati, President Jonathan’s brother is to be laid to rest on Saturday, 8 December 2012 at his hometown, Otuoke, in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State.

V.P Namadi Sambo to get a N2billion home


                
 Vice President is getting a home worth N2 billion from the government of Nigeria. There's a N50bn budget for the Federal Capital Territory and N2bn, according to the FCT Minister Bala Mohammed, is going into the construction of the official residence of Vice President Namadi Sambo, while N300 million is for the construction of the official residences of Senate president David Mark and his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu; the Speaker, Aminu Tambuwal; and his deputy, Emeka Ihedioha.

Victor Osuagwu set to wed


Victor Osuagwu and Roseline have been together for 13 years and have four children together but they didn't really officially get married, though he paid her dowry a while back, and I hear there might have been a court wedding, (not really sure). But anyway, they've decided to make their union official, as they will be getting married this Saturday December 8th (white and traditional wedding) in the bride's home in Choba, Port Harcourt. The wedding will hold at St.Paul's Anglican Cathedral, Diobu, Port Harcourt, while the reception party would hold at UPE primary school field, Choba, Rivers State. Congrats to them.

THE Federal Government restated  that it will re-introduce toll gates on Lagos-Ibadan expressway.Speaking through the Minister of Works, Mr. Mike Onolemenmen during the tour of North/South road from Lagos-Ibadan road, the govern- ment explained that toll taking was necessary to maintain the road.

       yesterday December 2nd 2012 can't forget these day,actually it was the 25th anniversary of our lady of Fatima choir St Micheal Catholic church Lafiaji Lagos .One of the best choral have ever joined,i learnt so many stuffs when i was in this choir we were like families we happen to be the best in the parish that's the 6:30mass choir but i left the choir is not that i left just that i relocated so it was far for me coming to join them.

I'm sure by now most of you know who Debbie is. The lady suffering from 4th grade Invasive Ductal Carcinoma - cancer of the breast. A lot of Nigerians came to her aid and helped raise the N6m she needed for surgery. She's currently in DC and I had the priviledge of meeting her some days back.

The will of the late Ikemba Nnewi, Chief Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, was on Friday presented to the family with his widow, Bianca, getting the lion’s share.
The presentation by the Chief Registrar of the Enugu High Court, Mr Dennis Ekoh, was witnessed by Bianca, Mr Val Nwosu, Ojukwu’s first cousin, and Mr Mike Ejemba.
