Mother Shut Dead By His 14 Year Old Son

A 14-year-old boy, Joshua Smith,  shot his mother, 36 year old Tamiko Robinson,  ten times as she slept on the couch,

 Smith's uncle LeShaun Roberts, told Fox Detroit that the teen had wanted to 'hang with the big boys' - gang members in their twenties - but when his mother said no he ran away to relatives. But Robinson, a dialysis patient, who was battling lupus, went after her son and insisted he came home.

angryly According to the uncle, Joshua broke into his step dad's room, got a twelve gauge and brutally murdered his mother while she slept on the couch in their home.

Joshua's five-year-old sister and step dad, were in the home at the time and were forced to jump out of a low window to escape the gunfire. 
Smith was arrested soon after the shooting.

Nigerian Sentenced to Death for Drug Trafficking in Malaysia

Judicial Commissioner Mohd Zaki Abdul Wahab sentenced 34-year-old Oluigbo Eric Chimeze after the prosecution had proved its case beyond reasonable doubt.

He was charged under Section 39 (B) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 which carries a mandatory death penalty upon conviction

Oluigbo had allegedly distributed 22,159 grammes of cannabis at a traffic light in Napoh, near here, heading to Bukit Kayu Hitam at about 6.45am on Sept 1, 2010.

Residents of Bariga, Corporal Emmanuel Okujo, who shot his former girlfriend in the face with his service pistol in the case of love-gone-sour situation and also kidnapping his victim’s younger sister and disappeared with her as a hostage.

Meanwhile, the case has been reported to the Lagos State Police Command and investigation is on-going to ascertain the whereabouts of the officer and the 18-year-old girl he took hostage. When contacted via phone, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), SP. Jaiyeoba Joseph, offered an insight: “The police is aware of the incident and has swung into action. The younger sister is the one he was going out with and both of them are currently at large.”

Suicide Bomber Attacks Church in Jos

Boko Haram has targeted Christians on several previous occasions, notably with a series of coordinated blasts on Christmas Day.Yesterday another of a suicide bomber who forced himself into the gate of  church of Christ in Nigeria (COCIN).This incident took the lives of three(3) people and many injured. 

  Church workers said a car forced its way through the gate during an early morning service.

“We were in the church during the time of worship and a suicide bomber forced himself into through the gate, into the church  approaching the pulpit the bomb exploded,” John Haruna, the reverend of the Church of Christ in Nigeria (COCIN), told AFP.

6 Churches Shuts Down by Lagos State Government Over Noise Pollution

The officials of Lagos State Environmental Protective Agency (LASEPA) have shut down six churches in Lagos Mainland areas over noise pollution

General Manager, LASEPA, Engr. Rasheed Shabi said the closure of the churches became imperative after several abatement notices issued to them were disregarded.According to him, the agency has warned the churches to reduce the noise coming from their worship centers or face sanctions before carrying out its threat over the weekend and also advice worship centres in the state to comply with the state’s standard on noise, while suggesting the use of sound proof equipment by churches to reduce noise during their worship services.

according to source Chikodili Anaekwe, hit her husband on the head with pestle which made him to slump. When he slumped, she stabbed him several times.
